First, let me start out by saying that I don't hate Obama and I don't really have a big problem with socialized health care. However, awarding him the Nobel peace prize for a nebulous message of change and for what he might do in the future is just plain silly.

He looks really goofy in that picture! Can those things fly? i have to agree that he got it for nothing. The Nobel peace prize has lost it's meaning! i have a problem with socialised health care, the long waiting, the understaffed hospitals, the overcrowded rooms, the substandard care, and the high taxes pulled out of my pay, etc..... i don't think that you actually spent much time as a patient.
Hi. You're right that I haven't spent much time as a patient. Maybe my view would be different in that case. I have had some experience with it though - my wife has had a baby and had a surgery here in Hungary. The conditions in the hospital were not very nice, but the case she received was good quality. I think a two-tiered system is the best option.
