Four Years Ago

On this day in 2007 our baby boy was born, and we named him Nathaniel, which means "gift of God".

Here is the birth announcement that we made for him:

Today Nate turned 4 years old.


He loves cars, trains, ninjas and Spiderman, and doesn't like wearing shorts. He is intense and challenging and loving and sweet.



Although today was his official birthday, we have been having a sort of "birthday week" for him. Yesterday he had a party at óvoda, today we had the "family birthday" at home, and on Saturday he will have some friends over for a garden party.

Nate's request for the óvoda birthday party was that Rosemary would make cupcakes and that everyone would have juice :)
