A Hard Day / Egy Nehéz Nap

Today was very difficult for us.
Rosemary got to meet Felicia for the first time today, but it was hard for her to see Felicia in the condition she's in.
We had hoped to be able to hold Felicia today, but we were not able to.

The doctors had both encouraging and discouraging things to say today. As you may know, Felicia had 2 main problems: Her lungs and air-ways, and the possibility of brain damage because of her lack of oxygen.

The encouraging thing is that her lungs and air-ways are healing very well. This was the problem which was life-threatening, and today the doctor said that she will survive. That's is great news, and we are so thankful to the Lord for saving Felicia's life!
The head doctor literally said that this was a "miracle healing" because her condition was so serious.

The discouraging thing is that they still can't know conclusively if she has suffered brain damage. The EEG readings were good, but only a MRI can show what is really going on in her brain, and that is not possible at this time because of her condition.
Additionally, the doctors are a bit concerned because she is not moving as much as she should be. There could be many reasons for this, but it is not a good sign. The doctor said that she is "lazy" and moving slowly, which is not an encouraging sign.

This was not easy to hear. For the past few days we have been getting very good news about her progress - which made today hard, because we had high expectations.
Nem volt könnyű ezt hallani. Az elmúlt pár nap alatt, jó híreket kaptunk a javulásáról - ami nehézzé tette a mai napot, mivel magas elvárásaink voltak.

Please pray for Felicia's total recovery, healing, and restoration - that her brain would be healthy and normal. Thank you so much.

    Dear Nick and Rosemary,

you are in our thoughts every moment. Praying for you all. Since our daughter(6) looked the beautiful pictures of Felicia, started praying also. Our God is the Lord of mercy.
"He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak." Isaiah, 40,29

    Love you all

    *tears*
You are in my heart and I hold you up to Father,
along with so many brothers and sisters.
How beautiful it is to be fighting together.
Every time I pray and I read the updates and
see the pictures I hear Father saying:
"I love her so much, my girl, Felicia!"

"May Your unfailing love be my comfort..." Psalm 119:76

    Love you,
    Isabella

Dear Nick and Rosemary! We keep praying for Felicia's full recovery, and for the whole family for peace. I am sure that God is showing his uncomprehensible love and grace to the world through this beautiful little girl. "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD." Isa 55:8 because "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope" Jer 29:11 We love you guys and think about you all the time!
